What We Look For in a Gathering

Secret Gathers^® looks for small gatherings with a real person behind them. A table, a room, a field, a studio. The kind of gathering where everyone knows each other’s name by the end of the night. Something occasional or quietly recurring, personal, and easy to miss unless someone points you toward it.

Small in Scale

Few enough people that the room can still feel personal.

Rooted in Place

A farm, studio, field, table, barn, garden, or room with a reason.

Led by the person behind it

Farmers, chefs, makers, artists, growers, musicians, and hosts with a real hand in what they create.

Infrequent or easy to miss

A gathering that happens quietly, seasonally, or only now and then.

Two Ways We May Share Your Gathering

There are two ways we may share what you create.

Gather Story

A Gather Story^™ is public article about you, your work, and the gatherings you bring to life. It lives on our site long term and may be shared with the Circle^™ first.

Gathering Feature

A private article that highlights you, your story, and a specific upcoming gathering, including booking details. It is shared only with the Circle and is not publicly listed on the website.

We Consider Each Submission

We review each submission by hand, looking for gatherings that reflect what Secret Gathers stands for. Those that feel like a genuine fit are selected.

Thoughtfully Shared

Selected gatherings are thoughtfully shared with our growing Circle. Each one is given room to breathe and find the people it was meant for.
